Hydraulic Components
Our experience in hydraulics is extensive. We have developed and patented the Step Lock piston seal to eliminate warranty problems for our 6,000 psi hydraulic cylinder product line. We have also developed a cartridge valve for modulating feed speed for our grapple saws, and integrated hydraulics onto many of our products and projects shown on the History page.
6K Hydraulic Components Product Line Overview
Our 6K products are rated for 6000 psi / 420 bar / 41,000 kPa working pressures and designed to operate with a 2.5:1 safety factor.
These components are made with high quality material and precision manufacturing methods.
Hydraulic Hose Size Recommendations
For hoses 4 ft. and shorter use the chart below. For longer hoses, larger hoses, or return line hoses visit the Gates website and use .94 for the Specific Gravity and 105 for the Viscosity.
