We offer a rigid mount and pivot mount belt drive saw for chain saw milling. These units are available to fit Husqvarna and Stihl bars. You are limited to a maximum of 10 teeth on your sprocket so the shaft speed needs to be around 8,000 rpm. We offer sprockets for .325, .375, and .404 chain for these units. If you are are using .375 chain it should be limited to between 10 to 15 hp.
The standard drive pulley for a 3,400 to 3,600 rpm motor to cut lumber should be 6" OD with 3 grooves for 3V section V-belts.
