Hydraulic Motor Protection Block
We use two different methods of motor protection that will reduce motor maintenance when motors are subjected to overrunning loads. We can make these mount directly to the motor or fit in line. For systems that use a motor spool valve (A and B port open to tank) we use counterbalance valves to hold the load and cross port relief valves that have the spring chamber vented to tank to control overrunning loads. For systems with A and B valve ports blocked we offer either cross port relief valves with the spring chamber vented to tank or we can provide relief valves that have the spring chamber isolated from hydraulic pressure.
