Load Holding Bodies
At 6k Products our load holding bodies are designed to accept either counterbalance valves or pilot operated check valves. The steel used in the machining process is C1018 or 8620, utilized for strength and welding quality. We offer one direction and two direction bodies for flows up to 120 GPM and 6,000 psi working pressure. The T-11A bodies are rated to 15 GPM maximum, T-2A are rated to 30 GPM maximum, T-17A are rated to 60 GPM and the T-21A are rated to 120 GPM. The incoming hose and port size, as well as the pipe or tube size, may lower the actual flow that the manifold can pass. Counterbalance valves should be used in metering applications where overload protection is needed. Pilot operated check valves should be used in applications where there is no metering or overload protection required and are more robust than counterbalance valves.
